Winfin is both an accounting and management system.
Winfin is not like other farm management financial packages - from the start, it was specifically developed to comply with generally accepted accounting practices. This is why it is possible to trace the audit track of every transaction, whether the transaction was initiated by the user or generated by the program itself. Management reports and the capture of management information are integrated with the capturing of accounting data as far as possible so as to avoid duplication of work. In cases where this was not possible, specific capturing techniques and reports were developed to ensure the best possible management reporting. This approach ensures that the program firstly complies with the criteria of the accounting profession and also allows the management user to download meaningful information from the program.
Winfin was developed with the aim of making data capturing as easy and user friendly as possible. This was done by ensuring that almost all commands could be executed with the keyboard or mouse. This means that processing and capturing is faster than most similar programm which require that some functions are carried out via the mouse and others via the keyboard.
